Taylor Swift’s ‘Mastermind’ Soundtracks New Survivor Trailer: Watch!

Survived shows his “masters”.

The popular CBS series this week released an exclusive sneak peek of its upcoming new episode featuring Taylor Swift’s hit song Midnight single “Mastermind” showcasing some of the show’s new challenges and contestant strategy games.

As the opening tune of “Mastermind” plays, several contestants can be seen walking along the beach in small scenes that fit into a puzzle piece. Scenes then cut to show the contestants lighting a fire, jumping into water for a challenge, and walking to their new camps.

“I watched every season Survived,” says one contestant in a voiceover, while another notes, “This is strategic excellence on display.”

Chiefs president says Travis Kelce ‘can handle’ attention for rumored romance with Taylor Swift (Exclusive)

The inclusion of Swift’s song comes as her rumored new romance with NFL player Travis Kelce, 34, has dominated headlines, even helping to boost recent NFL ratings.

Last Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game — which Swift, 33, attended with several celebrity friends including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner — drew an audience of nearly 27 million people, making her the most- watched Sunday’s TV show since the Super Bowl, according to NBC.

Notably, more women — presumably Swift fans — tuned in compared to previous weeks. NBC reported that it saw a 53% increase in viewership among girls 12-17, a 24% increase among women 18-24 and a 34% increase among women 35 and older.

Kelce first floated the idea that he was interested in Swift in July, saying on his podcast, “I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a friendship bracelet] with my number”, and added that he was “a little depressed” that his original plan did not work out.

The pair ended up hooking up, with Swift attending a Chiefs game on Sept. 24 in Kansas City — where the duo were later seen together at an after party. Swift also attended the Chiefs-Jets game in New Jersey on Sunday.
