Shiva Jyothi, better known as “Teenmaar” Savitri, is an Indian television anchor and newscaster from Telangana. She rose to fame with the show “Teenmaar” on V6 Telugu News Channel.

Savitri (age unknown) was born on February 14 in Nagampetta village in Muppakal Mandal, Nizamabad district, Telangana. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius. She completed her seventh standard from Nagampetta and then moved to a school in Ranges village to complete her tenth standard. Since the school was 8 kilometers away from her home, Savitri spent one year in Amur and another year in Nizamabad. Thereafter, she enrolled in a BSc Nursing course in Hyderabad but dropped out and started working as an anchor. Later, she graduated from an Open University.

Savitri started his career as a news anchor. Initially, she faced voice, language and accent issues on various news channels. Later, she auditioned for the V6 channel and read the news with a Telangana accent and was selected. In his initial days of joining the channel, Savitri read movie news and became popular. She then started hosting weekend specials on the channel. She earned huge appreciation for her radiant looks and perfect Telangana accent. Savitri was later roped in to host the daily prime time show “Teenmaar” at 9:30 pm along with Bitthiri Sathi. The show is a satirical comedy about current affairs in Telangana and her on-screen chemistry with Sati was loved by the audience.
In 2019, she quit her job at V6 channel and entered Big Boss Telugu 3 House as a contestant.
