- Tesin had a falling out with his brother Shehzad in 2017 after Shehzad made strong statements against the Congress party. Tehseen reportedly severed all contact with his brother. In an interview, he said,
We have severed all family ties with Shezad; he is no longer part of our family. Let us just say that if he had any issue with Congress, he should have raised it in an inter-party forum and not in the media. ”
