Telangana NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023: Directorate of State Examinations, DGE Telangana will close the registration window for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme, NMMS today: 13 October 2023 Candidates who want to register must visit the official website: bse.telangana . gov.in.
According to the Telangana NMMS Scholarship 2023 time table, the exam for 8th class students will be held on 10th December 2023 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The NMMS scholarship exam 2023 will be conducted at the revenue department headquarters in 33 districts of the state. It will be held in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English.
Who Can Apply for Telangana NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023?
Candidates can check the eligibility conditions below:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have secured at least 50 percent marks in Class 7 examinations (academic year 2022-23).
- Applicants whose parental income does not exceed the IRS. 3,50,000 per year can apply for this exam.
- Students who attended non-residential Zila Parishad, local government schools, government aided and model schools are also eligible to apply. However, students of model schools in residential buildings do not have the right.
Telangana NMMS Scholarship 2023 Qualifying Percentage

- The minimum qualifying marks for each paper will be 40% and in case of SC/ST students, this limit will be 32%.
- Selection will be made on merit subject to district and community quota allotted as per norms issued by MHRD New Delhi.

What is NMMS Scholarship 2023?
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched the centrally sponsored National Means and Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS).
Under this scheme the examination will be conducted every year for students attending Class VIII in State/Local/Municipal/Municipal/Non-Residential Schools (i.e. only from Non-Residential Schools) and selected candidates are eligible for scholarships.
