ChatGPT serves Stefanos Tsitsipas takedown on the spot!
The world No.11 shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, August 19, that he asked AI technology to “roast” him – and the chatbot seemingly completed the task.
“Stefanos Tsitsipas: a guy who spends more time philosophizing on Twitter than actually serving a solid second serve,” ChatGPT replied. “He’s the only player who can turn a simple shift into a TED talk on Greek mythology and come back on the court with his laces untied.”
The AI bot continued about the 2023 Australian Open and 2021 French Open finalist: “He might have a few more trophies by now if he spent less time perfecting his Instagram captions and more time working on his backhand slice.”

However, ChatGPT did include one positive detail about the 26-year-old’s game: his looks.
“But hey, at least his hair game wins,” the chatbot said, “even if his forehand occasionally forgets which way to go.”
For Tsitsipas, the year 2024 had ups and downs – both on and off the field.
After briefly breaking up with fellow tennis player Paula Badosa, the Greek athlete has opened up about rekindling their romance, just in time for them to play mixed doubles together at the French Open in May.

“It was hard for us to be apart, and I was going through hard times, Tsitsipas told Tennis.com. “I would say that I didn’t manage either, because I felt the pressure of the tour, of my work. It seemed like a mountain to combine the two and I decided to take a break.”
However, after “two, three weeks”, the duo reconnected.
“I feel that she is my person and we understand each other; it gives more value to everything I do and I want her with me as often as possible,” he said. “So we’ve reconnected and we’re in a good time.”
Tsitsipas revealed on his Instagram Stories on Monday that he landed in New York ahead of the start of the 2024 US Open, which officially begins with the first round of the men’s and women’s singles tournaments on Monday, August 26 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. Last year, the player was eliminated in the second round.
