Then keyboardist David Bryan’s voice is heard sharing, “Five guys out of nowhere, and if you work hard enough and dream big enough, you can make it,”

As the members briefly touched on Sambora’s departure from the band, they continued to share how they want to keep it going — all these years later.

In addition to highlighting the band, fans will learn more about Jon’s voice issues, which he began to deal with as the documentary begins filming in February 2022. “I don’t know if there’s going to be a happy ending,” an off-camera voice is heard as Jon cries into his arms.

In promotion of the upcoming series, Jon shed some light on his health at Hulu’s panel for new docuseries in late February. “They were taking away my craft,” he said of his “atrophied” vocal cords.

“I say in the movie, and in the final episodes, if I just got my tool back, I could deal with the rest,” he said. “I can write you a song, I can perform as well as anyone else. But I have to get my tool back.”
