‘The Bold Type’ Takes Portugal! Katie Stevens, Meghann Fahy and Aisha Dee Reunite 2 Years After Show Ends

On Thursday, Meghann Fahy took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing with her former co-stars Katie Stevens and Aisha Dee on a rooftop in Lisbon, Portugal.

“It’s been a minute but I still rely on Katie to tell us where to eat 💛🧡🩷,” White lotus the star joked with the video.

Dee (30) posted a similar photo on her Instagram Stories. “I love my moms,” she added, referring to Stevens, 30, and Fahy, 33.

Stevens also shared a group selfie with her former colleagues. “[A]ll is right in the world ✨,” she captioned the photo.

The all-female European adventure comes more than two years after the series finale Bold typewhich lasted five seasons from 2017 to 2021.

Ahead of the final episode airing in June 2021, Stevens — who played Joan Sloan on the Freeform series — opened up to PEOPLE about the bond she’s built with her co-stars.

“I don’t think there will ever be another experience that I’ve had in my career [like this]” she said at the time. “We were like, ‘We’re going to be like [Friends stars] Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow. We’ll be friends forever!'”

All three found themselves growing alongside their characters, watching their own friendships develop off and on screen.

“Friendships change and evolve, and there are some that stay and stick around for a reason, because they grow together and learn from each other. And I feel like we learned those things off the set, and kind of brought that to the screen,” he shared. is Stevens. “Even though our characters go through different things on the show, we’re very much there for each other through everything off-screen, even more so than these girls on the show.”

In May, former Ladies costar Sam Page, who played fan-favorite Richard Hunter, told PEOPLE he was open to a potential reboot of the series.

When asked if he would consider returning to the world Crimson magazine, the 46-year-old actor enthusiastically told PEOPLE, “Hell yes, absolutely.” He then recalled the good times he had with costar Fahy, who played his on-screen love interest Sutton Brady.

“It was so much fun. I loved working with Meghann. It was the best,” he said. “From the moment we screen tested together, she had already gotten the job, but we had, I think three other guys … tested the part. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, I don’t know if I got it.’ Because you never know for sure. But if I do, I think we’ll be able to do something really cool.”

Page says he and Fahy would “always talk about being kicked off the show” as Bold type came to an end.

“I think there were ideas that were seriously rejected,” he said. “I think it ended up being something they were exploring that they couldn’t do because of character rights and stuff.”

“But I guess they’re going to start their own fashion line,” he said of a potential spinoff for the pair. “And then it would be an exploration — which was a story we never really got to do, and I always thought we’d do on the show — why someone in Sutton’s position can’t have it all because you’re a woman and why you can’t have a family [and] the extreme level of success of her business, her fashion design.”

“I think we’ve always talked about that on the show and hoped we’d get to that point of exploring that,” he added.
