The Challenge’s Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols Welcome Baby No. 3, a Girl: ‘What an Experience’

Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols’ family just got bigger!

On Sunday, Challenge stars announced that they welcomed their third baby, a baby girl named Carmella Jean, as they shared cute pictures of the newborn dressed in pink in a joint Instagram post. Malena was born on Saturday at 11:45 p.m., and Compono revealed that due to her daughter’s quick arrival, she “didn’t have time” for the epidural.

We would like to introduce you to Miss Carmella Jean Nichols, who was born on 2/24/24. at 11:45 p.m., the reality star wrote on Instagram.

“Let me just say we didn’t get to the hospital until 11:30pm where I was fully dilated and didn’t have time for an epidural 😅 A few minutes later there she was. What an experience 😅♥️ She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long “, she added.

Nichols also commented on Carmella’s quick arrival in a post on his Instagram Story. Alongside a shirtless photo of him cradling his daughter on his chest, he wrote: “Jenna was out of commission from the shock of natural birth. So I had to step up and give the little lady the skin-to-skin she so desperately needed.”

“Personally, I think all the nurses wanted to see me shirtless,” he added jokingly.

The reality TV stars are already parents to daughter Liliana (13 months) and son Anthony.

Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols from ‘The Challenge’ are expecting baby no. 2

In August, Challenge the alum announced that she is expecting a third child together. Sharing a joint post on Instagram, Compono and Nichols posted photos of their two children alongside a sonogram picture of their third baby, writing “Baby #3 coming in February! 👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼.”

In the photo, the couple’s son and daughter are sitting next to each other under balloons that say “1” and “2”.

In December 2022, the couple welcomed their second baby together, daughter Liliana. “On December 27, 2022 at 5:47 am, we would like to welcome Liliana Marie ♥️,” Compono captioned her Instagram post sharing their happy news, adding that Liliana weighs 7 lbs. and 4 oz. and was born at 20.28 inches.

“I’m honestly looking forward to dressing her up in the most outrageous bows and outfits,” Compono said Hey! News after the baby arrives. “I’m also excited to have a mini me, and as she gets older we’ll be able to do girly things.”

In a post on his own Instagram, Nichols also shared a carousel of photos, including one showing him holding little Liliana. “Welcome Liliana Marie ♥️,” he wrote in the caption.

The longtime couple got engaged in 2019, and Nichols proposed at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York in December.
