Sophie Turner is suing Joe Jonas as the former couple wage their divorce battle. The Jonas Brothers star and the Game of Thrones actress announced they were ending their four-year marriage earlier this month, and now Sophie has filed court papers claiming Joe is refusing to hand over passports for their two children to allow them to return to the UK. Joe hit back at the claims with a statement from his representatives calling on Sophie to reconsider what he calls her “sharp legal position”, claiming that Sophie’s use of the word “kidnapping” was a “serious abuse of the legal system”. Sophie’s legal papers also claim that the actress found out about the divorce from the media, four days after Joe filed the divorce papers in Miami.

Lizzo faces additional legal action and allegations of abuse and sexual harassment by another former employee. Former fashion designer and stylist for the Good as Hell hitmaker, Asha Daniels, has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles claiming she was subjected to harassment as well as an “unsafe workplace culture.” Asha’s lawsuit against Lizzo comes weeks after three of the Grammy-winning backup dancers filed documents accusing her of sexual and racial harassment and weight shaming in incidents between 2021 and 2023. Lizzo, meanwhile, has denied all the allegations and released a statement saying they were sensationalized stories of former employees who, she believes, have already publicly admitted their own inappropriate behavior. The case is ongoing.

The band, which now consists of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, will release a new record, This Life, in November, along with the first single, Windows.
