Glastonbury fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the festival has confirmed that the Arctic Monkeys WILL take to the stage on Friday for their title act. The confirmation came after days of fears that the band would be forced to withdraw because Alex Turner developed acute laryngitis earlier in the week, prompting them to cancel a concert in Dublin. But Emily Eavis told BBC Radio Two the indie four-piece band will take the stage at the stately ranch. In other Glastonbury news, rock icons Foo Fighters are said to have a ‘secret slot’ on the Pyramid Stage right in front of Alex Tuner and co. title. Many believed the mysterious band was Pulp, but in the meantime it was revealed that Foos himself will be performing for fans at the iconic festival.

Kesha and Dr. Luke have reached an agreement in their defamation lawsuit. The music producer sued singer Tik Tok for defamation after Kesha filed a lawsuit against him in 2014, accusing him of sexually assaulting her in 2005, which Dr. Luke vehemently denies. Now both artists have reached an agreement, though finer details are yet to be revealed. Both sides have released a statement. Kesha said that although she cannot recount everything that happened that night, she is looking forward to closing this chapter of her life and starting a new one. Dr. Luke, meanwhile, insists he’s innocent and has fought hard to clear his name for the past ten years, but he wishes Keshi all the best.

Billie Eilish admits online criticism affected and hurt her.
