Along the way, they meet a man who claims the dog belongs to him. The dog was named Blacky. It was clear that the family needed help because the man lived in poverty. He has other dogs to take care of. The family has received many donations of food and pet supplies from the community.
Blacky doesn’t realize he’s changed things for the better. He is a true hero because he saved the little girl and changed her life.
