A dog named 0din was noticed by volunteers of the Missouri Dog Welfare Movement in the United States in the yard of negligent breeders, sitting on a leash in poor condition and not at all like the Alaskan Malamute.
Volunteer Sidney Schelkopf adopted the dog after seeing how dilapidated it was. After being examined by a doctor, the dog was diagnosed with several diseases.
Odin had a long and meticulous course of demodex and helminth treatments. He had a mental breakdown.
With time, Sidney’s efforts paid off. And in a few months, he turned into a beautiful, fluffy and large malamute.
Treatment was not easy for the dog and its new owner. But Sydney wanted to restore the dog’s teeth as much as possible. Volunteers hope to achieve good results with the help of special activities.
The animal turns into an affectionate and gentle pet that loves to play, like most dogs.
