Pedro Jimeno has problems with Chantel Everett.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive look at TLC The Chantel familyPedro is visibly angry as he discusses the massive raid on the couple’s joint bank account.

“Chantel stole all the money from the joint bank account,” he claims on camera.

Pedro then says that Chantel ended up turning the money over to the court after spending $60,000. However, Chantel has a different story.

“He was trying to say that I stole the money, but no, I didn’t,” she claims. “I took money out of the account, but I used that money for our divorce and house bills. And then I gave the rest to the court registry.”

As for her reasoning for taking the money in the first place, Chantel says she “didn’t know what he was capable of.”

“I said, ‘I’ve got to get this money out before Pedro runs off somewhere in the Dominican Republic and hides it,'” he recalls thinking.

Pedro, however, doesn’t believe Chantel is “paying all that money in legal fees and household expenses,” calling it “bulls—.” He then claims Chantel opened an immigration case to get him deported, claiming their marriage was a “fraud.” He fears that Chantel is trying to “take revenge” on him.
