The Flaming Lips Member Steven Drozd's Teen Daughter Is Missing: 'URGENT!!! Please Help If You Can'

The Flaming Lips are asking for fans’ help in finding drummer Steven Drozd’s teenage daughter, Charlotte.

The band’s instrumentalist’s 16-year-old daughter went missing on Saturday, October 5, around 11:30 a.m. in Seattle, Washington, near the Space Needle. Charlotte, whose nickname is Bowie, was last seen on the monorail near the Seattle landmark, Seattle police confirmed to PEOPLE.

In a missing person report issued by the Seattle Police Department, she is described as approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes.

The Seattle Police Department confirms that Charlotte Drozd is still classified as a missing or runaway juvenile and a detective from the Missing Persons Unit has been assigned to investigate her case.

Her father, 55, and the band’s frontman, Wayne Coyne, announced on Monday, October 7, on their social media that Charlotte had been missing since the weekend.

“URGENTLY!!! Please help if you can!!! Steven’s daughter (she is 16 years old) is missing !!! She was last seen at the Space Needle early Saturday….I will post more info as soon as I can❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏,” Coyne, 63, wrote in the Instagram caption.

He also added a number of hashtags, including “#BringBowieHome,” as well as “#flaminglips #theflaminglips #MissingPerson #MissingPersonSeattle #MissingInSeattle #MissingChild.”

“Thank you Wayne for the post. We don’t know what to do ❤️,” Steven replied in the comments section.

The Flaming Lips Facebook page also shared a missing persons poster.
