Pras Michel does not hold back in the new song.
Days after it was announced that the Miseducation anniversary tour has been quietly cancelled, the rapper/producer and member of The Fugees, 51, has released a new song called “Bar Mitzfa” that appears to take aim at Ms. Lauryn Hill.
The song, which Michel initially teased as a song on his Instagram Story before TMZ exclusively released it on Thursday, August 13, appears to blame the “Ready or Not” singer, 49, for the tour’s demise.

“No one will remember: click bait beefs, how many Gucci bags you owned, fake excuses. People will remember: How you made them feel, did you keep your word, could they count on you, if you show up on time!!!” he raps.
On August 9, Michel also commented on Hill and the tour cancellation to TMZ, saying, “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story, but oops … the cat’s out of the bag,”
“Bar Mitzfa” also touched on the legal problems of the artist “Ghetto Supastar” in the last few years.
Last year, Michel was found guilty of political money laundering, which he seems to mention in the song when he raps, “Obama’s name in the revelations had to admit the fifth!”
The Fugees’ reunion tour, set to kick off in Tampa, Florida on August 9, was meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hill’s 1998 album. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hillbut was quietly canceled on August 6, according toDiversity.
The tour was supposed to visit major cities across the US and Europe, and will end in Amsterdam on October 22.
According to the outlet, ticket holders received messages from Live Nation on Aug. 6 that read, “Your event has been canceled. The refund will arrive in your account shortly.”
A reason for the cancellation was not given at the time, and representatives for the band and Live Nation did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
However, on August 7, Hill confirmed rumors that poor “ticket sales” had caused the tour to be cancelled, and assured fans that her planned UK and European dates would still be in the fall.
“The decision has been made with difficulty to withdraw the dates of our upcoming North American tour. The UK and European concerts are MOVED as scheduled,” she wrote on social media.

The tour was originally pushed back in November when Hill revealed she was struggling with voice issues.
“As many of you may know, I have been struggling with serious vocal cord strain for the past month. “I went through every performance taking prescribed prednisone, but it can be harmful to the body if taken in large amounts over a long period of time,” the “Doo Wop” singer wrote on Instagram at the time.
Hill continued, “To prevent any long-term negative effects on my voice and body, I need to take time off to allow for proper vocal recovery so that I can come off the medication completely.”
