The Game is doing its part to help residents and first responders amid the devastating LA fires.
In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 12, the rapper — whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor — said he was helping out on the ground where he could, including handing out basic supplies to exhausted firefighters and rescuing lost and abandoned pets.
“We came here this morning with blankets, pillows, coffee, bananas, water — anything we can, you know, bring to help these firefighters here when they wake up, man,” The Game, 45, said as he looked directly into the camera. “They’re doing great, amazing things here.”
The “California Vacation” singer then shared that he and his team headed to Altadena — one of LA’s wildfire-hit neighborhoods — to “rescue some animals” and “drop them off at a shelter.”
“Then we’ll go to the other side of town and probably stop a few friends who work there,” he added.

“It’s just a time when everybody needs everybody, you know?” he continued.
“It’s like one of those times in America where everybody just needs to understand what’s going on here and do what they can to help,” he concluded, before saying he would also post ways people outside of LA can help those who are affected by the disaster.
