The favorite Christmas movie is about to get an LGBTQ twist.
Starring Taylor Frey, Rick Cosnett and Kyle Richards The Holiday Exchangewhich follows a single man who swaps houses with another, much like Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet did in 2006. Holiday.
In an exclusive trailer for the new film — premiering October 1 on Peacock and Prime Video — Hollywood’s Wilde (Frey) confronts her boyfriend Sean for claiming he’s going on a writer’s retreat and visiting an ex instead.
“I’m going to terminate Sean for this,” says Wilde’s mom Lola (Richards).

But the whole thing makes Wilde want to leave the city, so he visits a vacation apartment and looks at an adorable cottage in the snowy European town of Brilfax. It’s the “Brilliant Brilfax Escape,” according to the location, and it’s being rented out by Oliver (Cosnett).
Meanwhile, Oliver goes to Wilde’s home in Los Angeles. “This is so beautiful!” he declares.
It’s no surprise that romance is simmering on both sides of the globe as the holiday approaches.

“When we fall, we get right back up. And that’s as true of love as it was when you were a little boy riding your bike,” Lola tells Wilde. “Shall we drink?”
“Let’s drink, yeah,” Wilde replies.

The film’s official logline reads: “Wilde (Frey) has just sold his company, but facing the holidays as a single man, he decides to swap houses on an LGBTQ app with handsome Brilfax-born Oliver (Cosnett). In their efforts to escape their troubles, each will eventually meet their handsome locals in the form of Julius (Samer Salem) and Henry (Daniel Garcia), who will spice up their visits in the process, romance ignites in both sunny LA and the charming, snowy town called Brilfax.”

The film was written by Frey and directed by Jake Helgren, who directed last year’s spicy Lifetime flick A cowboy Christmas romance. Helgren, Frey and Frey’s husband, Kyle Dean Massey, are producing.
