As a kid, you could bathe with a rubber duck and let it fly in the tub. The boy in our story bathed with a rubber duck as well as a live one.
In 2016, Jennifer Young plans to adopt a baby duckling. Her son was only a few months old at the time. Little did she know that the duck and her son would become best friends.
Duck Bee, also known as Beaker, has been Tyler’s son Jennifer’s best friend since he entered the family. So it’s no surprise that the first word Tyler says is nothing more than “duck”.
Apparently, the two friends play, eat, sleep, and do everything together. It was easy for Jennifer to train the duck with a harness. Wherever the man goes, the duck follows him.
Jennifer found it quite chaotic from the moment the two friends woke up until they fell asleep. Bee was looking for food while Tyler was eating and the man tried to steal food for his duck. Sometimes two outcasts make a mess in Tyler’s room and look equally guilty because they’re both in charge.
This duck is also very protective of his friend. If Tyler cried while Jennifer was holding him, Bee would come to her leg and gently tap to make sure Tyler was okay and uninjured.
Although Jennifer had owned other ducks before, none were domestic ducks. Bee was the first domestic duck she cared for. This is why the duck has to wear diapers like Tyler.
At first, Jennifer laughed when she learned that people kept ducks indoors by making them wear diapers, but somehow ended up doing the same.
Bees are intelligent, sweet and loyal pets and are not much different from dogs and cats. Tyler loves his best friend duck very much and loves having the duck by his side as a pet. Their photos are definitely proof of the deep bond they share.
