'The Masked Singer' Reveals 'the Biggest Star We’ve Ever Had in 10 Seasons' According to Ken Jeong

Anonymouse took off his mask in Sunday’s Season 10 opener

Anonymouse didn’t stay anonymous for long.

As Masked singer looking back on nine seasons of undercover shows and looking ahead to season 10, they introduced one new masked contestant to be unveiled at the end of the night: Anonymous. Anonymouse kicked off Season 10 with a performance of Heart’s “What About Love.”

Host Nick Cannon asked Anonymous for an additional clue, and they said: “Just like Michelle Obama, Oprah and Angelina Jolie, I’m on a special list: Timeis 100.”

Judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke thought Anonymouse could be Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga or Alicia Keys.

Jeong called Anonymouse “the most powerful voice on the show.”

The special episode continued with the return of Michelle Williams (Butterfly Season 2) and Rumer Willis (Lion Season 1), plus a countdown of the top five performances in the show’s history.

Anonymouse chimed in with an additional clue. “My acting career cemented me as one talented mouse,” she said.

Additionally, the judges thought Anonymouse could be Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Demi Lovato or Pink.

Scherzinger (45) teamed up with her ex Masked singer wins over Victor Oladipo (Season 2 Thingamajig) and Barry Zito (Season 3 Rhino) for a performance of Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant to Be”.

“I was a little scared, I’m not going to lie,” Zito, 45, said of singing with Scherzinger.

Bow Wow (Frog Season 3) and Joey Fatone (Rabbit Season 1) paired up for another reunion performance of The Jackson 5’s “ABC.” Fatone, 46, revealed that he actually got a tattoo of Rabbit on his calf. “That’s called people’s commitment!” the *NSYNC member said.

Anonymouse offered a clue pack that included Nick Jonas, Texas, a tiara, and a dinosaur.

“I started working young, but my big break came when I could show my voice,” Anonymouse said.

Miš admitted that they struggled with fame. “When my future looked bright on the outside, I struggled with feeling ridiculous on the inside,” she said. “The more I pushed them down, the more it felt like it was slipping. I was trapped on a path of wrong decisions and eventually hit rock bottom. But it was the wake-up call I needed to finally realize that I still have so much life left.”

The show also unveiled the first round of hints for some of the new artists. The Diver offered the Cardinal, the Gazelle said they had ties to Season 4’s Gremlin (Mickey Rourke), and the Royal Hen said they were internationally famous. “Because of what I have done, I am known all over the world,” said the Royal Hen.

Husky also gave an initial clue to their identity: “Don’t bark up the wrong tree – here’s 10 million guesses as to who I am.”

When it came time to reveal Anonymouse, who will not be competing when Season 10 officially begins later this month, Jeong, 54, thought, “This might be the biggest star we’ve ever had in 10 seasons on Masked singer.”

McCarthy (50), Scherzinger and Thicke (46) agreed that Lovato (31) must be under a mask – and in the end they were right. The “Skyscraper” singer appeared when she removed the mask from her head.

“You’re one of those legends,” McCarthy told Lovato after she exposed herself.

Thicke agreed: “You are one of the great voices and talents of any generation.”
