The Masked Singer’s Biggest and Furriest Costume Ever Enters the Competition as a Wildcard on Trolls Night

Trolls took over Masked singer on Wednesday, and stars Branch and Poppy kicked off the night dancing to *NSYNC’s new song “Better Place.”

The performances started with Anteater.

“I wrestled in high school and was so good I could have gone to college for it, but I needed more,” Anteater teased in their clue pack that also included a lost-and-found and a watermelon.

Anteater said they “drove race cars, earned a racing license and, like a boss, I raced all over America and the UK”

Anteater turned to Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way.”

“You can really hear that pain in his voice,” judge Robin Thicke told Anteater.

Branch and Poppy found an additional clue to the Anteater: a Hall of Fame star. “I suppose the Trolls might know something about the Hall of Fame,” Anteater said.

The panel, which also includes Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger, suggested that the Anteater could be Bob Dylan, John Cougar Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Bob Seger or Paul Simon.

Then the stage was lit by candelabras.

“Growing up, I had to be tough,” Candelabra said in his package of tips. “Mom was in and out of my life and I was alone a lot until some family friends accepted me.”

The package featured black dancing shoes, a question mark ring box, butterflies and a castle before Candelabra sang “All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo.

“I feel like I know this person,” host Nick Cannon said.

Branch and Poppy discover teacups that say “real” and “tea” for Candelabra’s extra clue.

“I want you to know that on and off camera, I keep it 100 real,” Candelabra said.

Keyshia Cole and Ashanti emerged as options for Candelabra.

The donut continued to sweeten the night.

“I could have lived a billion dreams,” Donut said in their blurb package, which additionally included the comic and director’s cut issue #1. “From movies to music to marrying my soul mate, life has been pretty sweet.”

Donut said the death of his wife, with whom he had a studio, “left a big hole in my heart.”

“Most days I feel lost, but I try to honor her memory by doing something brave,” Donut said.

Donut sang “I Do (Cherish You)” by 98 Degrees, and Thicke, 46, called it “so strong and so beautiful.”

The spices served Donut as an additional clue because “I’m well seasoned and several generations have enjoyed me,” explained the confectioner.

The judges thought Donut could be Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Liam Neeson or Stanley Tucci.

New Wildcard Contestant Cuddle Monster — Masked singerthe biggest and furriest costume ever — closed the contest.

Cuddle Monster admitted in his clue pack that he was “definitely a wild child” and that he “grew up in a beautiful but sometimes violent place, but luckily for me, I got away with it because of my passion, generational talent.”

The clue pack featured a bride, tennis shoes, boxing gloves and Charging Bull.

“I was self-destructive at the height of my career,” Cuddle Monster said, adding that he “learned tools to tame anger through meditation and positive energy.”

Cuddle Monster covered New Kids on the Block’s “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and got “World Champion” as an extra track.

“This clue should shed some light on who I am,” Cuddle Monster said.

The panelists threw out NBA players Draymond Green, Shaquille O’Neal and Dennis Rodman as possibilities for the Cuddle Monster.

After Cannon, 43, asked the studio audience to vote for their favorite performer of the night, he revealed that Anteater and Cuddle Monster received the fewest votes and will face off on Smackdown. They each tackled Justin Timberlake Trolls anthem “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and the judges ultimately chose Anteater to advance in the competition.

When the Cuddle Monster was exposed, it turned out to be an NBA player, but not the one the committee hit on. Instead, Metta World Peace appeared beneath the fuzzy clothing.
