Teenager Sam Steingard is struggling to find a dance partner for the prom, but then he decides to solve his problem in the cutest way possible.
According to The Animal Rescue Site, because he didn’t plan to stay long at the prom, he decided to bring his cat Ruby instead of going to the traditional prom night.
The Steingard family found Ruby behind Ruby Tuesday when she was just a kitten and she’s been part of the family ever since.
Now, Ruby has been a part of Sam’s life for over 10 years and is delighted to be her man at the prom. Stengaird’s mother, Joanne, ensures that Ruby will look stunning on the big day.
She bought her a beautiful dress and even decorated it with a sparkly necklace to complete the outfit. Ruby, who was originally very pretty, has become a real glossy beauty.
After the two were dressed up to their teeth, Joanne posed for some traditional prom photos of the lovely couple.
One of the photos was later posted online by Sam’s sister and quickly went viral. Now millions of people have viewed the image and it has been reposted all over the web. People really like this goofy couple and people from all over the world are smitten with Ruby.
Her budding popularity spawned an Instagram page, rubytheprettykitty, where Ruby fans could see more of her and the Steingard family.
