The Voice Wraps Blind Auditions with a Four-Chair Turn, a Redemption Arc and a Michael Bublé Serenade

All four teams are now full Vote — and this year’s blind auditions ended in style!

Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire rounded out their teams on the Thursday, October 15 episode of the hit NBC competition series, recruiting their final picks in the final round of auditions.

Notable choices include Cassidy Lee, who previously auditioned unsuccessfully for Season 18, Jose Luis, whose version of Olivia Rodrigo’s hit earned a spot on four chairs, and Aliyah Khaylyn, who belted out an emotional ballad.

Lee, 28, was disappointed when no chairs turned for her during Season 18 in 2020. But she returned with a swinging, raucous rendition of “You’re No Good,” which earned her a spot on Team Michael.

“While I was looking at you, I was thinking about a few things. At first I thought, ‘Thank you, Jesus, that these coaches have pushed their buttons so many times that they won’t do it again.’ Because I hear something in your voice that’s unique, Bublé told Lee. “It’s really feminine, but at the same time you have that rocking growl that I said, ‘Ugh.'”

Luis, meanwhile, caught the attention of all four coaches with Rodrgio’s “Traitor” — but ended up choosing Team Gwen.

“You are so beautiful!” he said to the “Purple Irises” singer as he left for a hug and completed her team.

Luis, who is from Puerto Rico, said his home territory was “slow to develop,” and that he often felt out of place in the more masculine culture.

“There’s still a lot, if you’re a man, you have to be,” he said. “But I love fashion and art and performance so I’ve felt like an outcast for most of my life. But I think that music created a space for me to feel welcome… I aspire to make an impact and I want to be a pop artist like Lady Gaga.”

Later in the show, contestant Khaylyn, 23, also wowed the coaches with Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War,” prompting McEntire, Snoop and Bublé to push their buttons.

“This show is called Voteright, so we’re looking for a voice. But it’s not just about having a voice,” said Bublé. “It’s about having the ability to come here and just have a light that shines out of you. I wish I could sing like you. I think I would win this competition.”

Although she called it possibly the “hardest decision” she’s ever made, Khaylyn chose to be on Team Michael, who filled the last vacant spot on Team Star.

When Khaylyn joined the team, Bublé felt good… really good. So well, in fact, that he stood up and serenaded the crowd with a few lines of “Feeling Good.”

“This is a big moment for me, because in my first season, my team is full,” he said, before singing, “and I feel good.”

“Was that too much?” he asked afterward, to which Stefani insisted, “No, no.”

“No, that wasn’t enough!” Snoop added before belting out “Bublé!” sing.

For Khaylyn, the emotional audition marked a special moment after the loss of her longtime mother in 2021.

“Although my mother is not here, she is here in spirit. I know it would mean a lot to her if I continued to heal with my art and craft,” said Khalyn. “This was truly a blessing. I’m just really excited.”

Vote airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8:00 PM ET and is available to stream on Peacock the following day.
