The new Emmy winner for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series is Jennifer Coolidge!

“I want to thank all the mean gays,” Coolidge, 62, joked in her acceptance speech — a tribute to her character Tanya McQuoid’s viral moment — before being verbally pushed off the stage.

Mike White White lotus has quickly become a fan favorite since its debut on HBO in 2021. The cast of the first and second seasons have received praise for their performances, earning major award nominations, including Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards.

Coolidge became an instant breakout and fan favorite for her role as Tabya in White lotushis debut season. The role also saw her walk away with a Golden Globe Award, two Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She previously earned an Emmy for her efforts in September 2022.

Coolidge’s character, however, was suddenly killed off in the second season finale. But the actress believes that her on-screen death had to happen.
