They found an eternal friend in each other.

*Je-ss was worried at first how Toby, her 9-year-old terrier, would react to his adopted brother. Toby was Jess’ absolute best friend. They were set to have some amazing adventures together and had formed a wonderful bond, so the thought of expanding their little family sounded a little daunting. After a few days of uncertainty between Toby and Amos, their friendly ship goes down…

*Am-os has never been home before Jess, since his entire life was spent in a rescue center. Amos would bump into the walls, get scared by the sounds of the TV and even we were worried by the feeling of a pet in the car on our paws. Simple tasks, like looking for a water bowl, were a huge challenge for the blind puppy.

*Toby wasn’t sure about Amos at first, but Jess was quick to freeze something incredibly edible. When she saw Amos struggling to get his water bowl out, Toby would nudge him in the right direction. It started as an occasionally helpful nudge and later became Amos to get his own guidance. Jess and her family knew they had another loving partner.

*When Amos got older, he was examined by an ophthalmologist.specialist. It was decided that his eyes were probably causing him daily pressure and pain, so getting rid of his eyes might be the best decision. Shortly after Amos underwent surgery, Toby took over the role of his “unofficial sight dog.”

*When Amos and Toby continued walking together for the first time, Amos was upset.une-asy. The noise around him will scare him and he hopes that he needs frequent rest to lie down and organize himself. Toby would immediately lay down next to him and wait with him until he could go on!
