Tiger Woods returned to the golf course with both of his children this weekend, as he and son Charlie took part in the 2024 PNC Championship — while his daughter Sam once again took over caddying duties.
On Saturday, December 21, the 48-year-old golf great hit the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, where he was joined for the second year in a row by his 17-year-old daughter, who made her caddying debut with him. her dad just a year before.
Tiger, Sam and Charlie, 15, could be seen in photos and videos in sports gear – with Sam carrying his dad’s clubs – and smiling at each other as they prepared for a fun day of golfing as a family.
As for the father-son duo, they’ve been teaming up for years at the PNC Championship, a golf tournament in Florida where professional golfers are paired with family members for a 36-hole outing.

Tiger has told reporters in the past that he’s always “excited” to simply play a round of golf with his son, though they keep it “competitive,” using Charlie’s par to more evenly count their scores.
“Charlie clearly loves the time he spends with dad on the golf course,” a source close to Woods told PEOPLE in 2020. “It’s definitely a bonding activity for the two of them.”
The tournament continues until Sunday, December 22, when the final round begins at 9:30 am

Tiger shares his two children with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, whom he married in 2004 and later divorced in 2010. Charlie was born in 2009, while Sam was born in 2007.
“I just love being with them and seeing what they’re doing, what they’re capable of — the joys, the changes in interests. It’s just fun. We have a great time together,” Tiger said of his two children in 2011. In recent years, Charlie has followed his father’s fame feet as he began to make a name for himself as a professional golfer. The teenager made headlines in April when he attempted to qualify for the US Open. Charlie fell short of that mark, but later qualified for his first USGA tournament in June, shooting -1 under on the par 71 course.

Charlie told reporters after qualifying for the tournament that his goal is to win the USGA Championships, but he also made it clear that his goal is also “hopefully one day [win] US Open.”

A month later, Charlie struggled while trying to qualify for the US Junior Amateur Championship, missing the cut by 18 strokes. According to USA Today.
Tiger has said in the past that he would be “proud” of Charlie no matter what career path he chooses, though he made no secret of his excitement about sharing the course with his son when they played for the first time in the 2020 PNC Championship.
“I don’t think words can describe it,” Tiger said at that time. “Just the fact that we were able to have this experience together, Charlie and I, it’s memories to last a lifetime.”
