Tiger Woods and his team were out of their game at the recent TGL match, culminating in a “unpleasant” mistake for Woods, which forced his teammates Jupiter Links to fall to the ground laughing.
On Tuesday, February 18th, Woods had 199 meters to the hole and asked his friend Rob McNamar to confirm the ditch, the TGL officially said. McNamara confirmed that it was 99, so it indicated “1” in Golf, to indicate 199 meters.
Woods was misunderstood, hitting Wedge, a solid shot that was 100 meters less than the flag, the place states. While golf course teammates, Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim, fell smiling, Woods approached the confusedly.
“You said ’99 meters,” Woods, 49, said a group at Sofa Arena in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. When the golfers confirmed that he was actually 199 meters, Woods smiled wrongly.
“One of the most unusual moments of my golf career has just happened,” Woods said on ESPN Telecast, CBS Sports reports.

The match was Woods’s first competitive appearance since his mother died on February 4th.
“It was a difficult process to go through,” Woods said the bereavement of his mom during the appearance at Invitional in 2025, February 16, according to CNN. “But I had amazing family support, all the players playing here reached out here. The amount of texts, e -mail and beautiful support for support I received really helped and really meant a lot to me.”
“Mom would take me to every junior event here in southern California,” he added. “I would be driving there and staying there, walking every hole and how much I hit, how many swimming paths I hit, how much greenery I hit. She followed everything. Losing it was a very difficult and difficult process.”
