Timbaland, Steely Dan and Hillary Lindsey Among 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductees

The Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2024 has arrived!

On Wednesday, the organization revealed that Timbaland, Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, Hillary Lindsey, REM and Dean Pitchford will join the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the upcoming 2024 induction and awards ceremony.

Grammy-winning musician, Chico co-founder and Songwriters Hall of Fame president Nile Rodgers spoke about the group of musicians in a press statement: “I’ve said it before, but the music industry doesn’t exist without songwriters who deliver great songs first,” he said. “Without them there is no recorded music, no concerts, no merch… nothing, everything starts with the song and the songwriter.”
