Timothée Chalamet Sports a Mustache and Glasses on Set of New Film Marty Supreme in New York City

Timothée Chalamet steps into a new role.

The 28-year-old actor was spotted on the sets of his film Marty Supreme in New York City on Monday, September 30, looking possibly unrecognizable with a mustache and glasses. Chalamet finished the look in a collared shirt under a navy waistcoat and brown trousers, with his hair slicked back.

As Diversity reported in July, Marty Supreme is a fictional story partially inspired by professional table tennis player Marty Reisman. The film was directed by Josh Safdie, based on a script by Safdie (40) and Ronald Bronstein.

A24 broke the news in a July 15 post on X, with a graphic of a table tennis ball emblazoned with “MARTY SUPREME” and “MADE IN AMERICA,” separated by three stars.

The following month, it was announced that Gwyneth Paltrow would be joining the cast, after years of focusing on her various ventures.
