Solange’s latest performance exhibition received the approval of her mother, Tina Knowles.
The Grammy winner recently performed a four-act multimedia show called “In Service to Whom” at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in which she and a 10-piece orchestra performed new orchestral works and music from Solange’s discography.
“As I reflect on the evolution and maturation of my art, ‘In Service to Whom’ is developed around constructing new narratives surrounding my body, resting, shielding from view and speaking of re-emerging into the world of everyday life after a period of personal incubation and self-revitalization,” the “Cranes in the Sky” performer, 37, wrote on Instagram Thursday.
