After delighted fans saw Tina Knowles like an Instagram post criticizing ticket prices for Janet Jackson’s Together Again Tour this week, she took to the social media platform to clarify that the whole ordeal was a “huge mistake”.

“What a joke,” the Instagram user wrote, later adding: “You want Beyoncé prices, get real production. Just disgusted.”
Knowles, 70, hit the like button on the post, leading some fans to think drama was brewing between her and the 57-year-old “Nasty” singer — but that’s not the case, as she explained in an Instagram video posted Wednesday morning.
“I got a phone call that I’m trending because I liked a post about ticket prices and an artist overcharging,” explained the businesswoman, who has attended many of her daughter Beyoncé’s shows. renaissance Tour last year.

In the caption of the post, Tina wrote that the whole ordeal “sued” her because Jackson is an “icon” and she would “never question another artist.”

Tina then reflected on her longtime fandom of Jackson: “I took Destiny’s Child to see Janet when they were 15. They always looked up to her and she opened doors for Beyoncé. Why should I hate her?”
Looking to the future, they will take a closer look at their social media apps before pressing any buttons. “Now I know that I shouldn’t rush and that I should be very careful. (I learned my lesson) ! Especially when I have so much.. I just wanted to clarify,” Tina wrote. “I know you can see people’s likes so I’d be pretty stupid to do that.”
Jackson recently extended her Together Again Tour with 35 new dates scheduled for this year.
