Titas Sadhu is an Indian cricketer who was Man of the Match for the Indian Women’s Under-19 team by the International Cricket Council in the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa. She is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium bowler.

Titas Ranadeep Sadhu was born on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in Chinsurla, West Bengal (age 18; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Libra. After her birth, her mother started living with her grandmother in Krishna Nagar, West Bengal. When Titas grew up, her father was posted to Ranchi and they moved there. After some time, they started living in Kolkata but had to leave the place as there were few school options for Titas to play there. So they started living in Chinsurla, West Bengal, where she could play football at their ancestral club. The name of the club was ‘Rajendra Smirti Sangh’ and she used to visit the club during cricket matches to check the scores. She was not interested in cricket from the beginning. She started swimming in class and then played table tennis. One day while she was at the club the match was called off due to rain so her father asked her to throw a bowl and from that moment she decided to start playing cricket professionally.

Titas’ childhood coach Priyankar Mukherjee asked Bengal bowling coach Shib Shankar Paul to train her. At the age of 13, she tried out for the West Bengal team but was rejected. Next year, she wanted to take exams but decided to focus first on her 10th board exam, where she scored 90%. In 2020, she had the opportunity to become a member of the Bengal team as a bowler. She debuted at the age of 16 and is the youngest member of the team. In the two games she played for the team, she didn’t perform very well and was removed from the team. She improved her skills by participating in matches organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Association. In 2022, she participated in the Women’s T20 Championship and took 7 wickets in 5 games, making her the highest wicket taker. This performance earned her a spot in the Bengal senior team. As a member of the Bangladesh team, she played in the Women’s U19 T20 Quad Series against India A, India B, Sri Lanka and West Indies, which helped her gain some experience for the World Cup.

She made her T20 debut on 27 December 2022 against South Africa in Pretoria. In 2023, she was the player of the match in the T20 World Cup in South Africa with six wickets.
