Todd Blackledge’s wife, Brittany Blackledge, works for ESPN and previously worked for NASCAR. Todd Blackledge, a football commentator, has four boys from a previous marriage. One of his four children is majoring in baseball at TCU, while his oldest son was recognized while playing basketball at Hope College. Blackledge, a former Penn State quarterback, spent seven years in the NFL before transitioning from football boots to the microphone. Blackledge left ESPN earlier this year after 17 years to join NBC. Blackledge recently announced the Bengals-Steelers game with Noah Eagle, replacing NBC’s usual combination of Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico. Todd Blackledge’s wife, Brittany Blackledge, has similar hobbies to the former NFL player. After all, they both work in the sports industry. Brittany Blackledge graduated from Louisiana State University with a BA in Theatre/Dance in 2010. Prior to graduating from LSU, Brittany attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College for two years. Brittany started playing sports with NBC back in 2010. She started working as a stage manager for NBC Sports. Two years later, she joined ESPN’s production/talent coordination team.

Brittany started working as a stage manager for CBS Sports in 2014. She worked for CBS for six years, from 2014 to 2020, and also served as head of production for NASCAR. Earlier this year, in February, she left NASCAR. Brittany and the commentator were married on May 13, 2022. It is not known when Todd and Brittany started dating, although they may have first met while working for ESPN. Brittany posted a few photos from her wedding day on Facebook. Todd was previously married to Cherie Blackledge.
Todd’s ex-wife has always shunned the limelight and continues to do so. Todd previously posted photos of himself and his wife Brittany on his X account (formerly Twitter). Earlier this year, he uploaded a selfie of himself and Brittany at a TCU baseball game. Todd’s youngest son, Owen, plays infield for TCU. He captioned the pic, “My kid plays for TCU and my wife attended LSU so we have all the purples covered here in Omaha! Go ahead, Frogs! Geaux Tigers!”

Todd Blackledge and his ex Cherie have four children, all boys. His four boys followed different paths in life, and one even received the Jostens Trophy. Todd’s oldest son, Harrison Blackledge, took home the Jostens Trophy in 2017. The award, created by the Rotary Club of Salem, has three requirements.
Basketball skills, academic success and community service. Harrison played four years of basketball at Hope College and was the first Hope student to receive this honor. After graduating from Hope, Belmont attended Belmont University and earned his MBA. He works as a sales executive for TelevisaUnivision and is married to Kristi Blackledge. Todd’s second son, Quinn Blackledge, graduated from the University of Michigan and is now pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology at the California Institute for Integral Studies. She currently works as a YWD Case Manager at The Richmond Neighborhood Center. Their brother Eli Blackledge stays away from social media so nothing is known about him.
His child Owen Blackledge is a baseball player
Todd and Cherie’s youngest child, Owen Blackledge, is now a sophomore at Texas Christian University. He previously played high school baseball for North Canton. As a senior at North Canton, Owen earned first-team All-Ohio and first-team all-Stark County District honors. Owen, who is 6’3, plays the outfield. Owen started four of nine games in his debut season in 2022.
His first four starts were as a shortstop. After the year, Owen was selected to the 2022 Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team. Owen played in five games and had a .250 batting average as a sophomore. He can be found on Instagram under the account @lil_ledge06, where he has posted photos of himself with his teammates as well as action shots for TCU.
