Tom Brady Is Not Dating Anyone, Focusing on Work and Kids amid Gisele Bündchen's Pregnancy News: Source

Tom Brady is doing just fine, amid news that his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen is expecting a child with her new partner, a source tells PEOPLE.

“He’s not dating anyone. He’s focused on work and his kids,” says the source.

Brady, a football great and seven-time Super Bowl winner, was busy with his new job as an analyst for Fox Sports, which began at the start of the NFL season in September.

His first game as an analyst was on Sept. 8, and during the game he told teammate Kevin Burkhardt that he was excited not to wake up in pain for at least once.

“I’ve used my arm and my body for so many years, and now I get to the stadium and start using my voice,” Brady said. “Maybe I’ll go out there tomorrow morning and make some passes just to remember what it feels like. But as Michael Strahan said to me in the pregame, ‘You’re going to wake up Monday morning and it won’t hurt,’ and I’m very happy about that.”

The athlete also remained in high demand as a spokesperson.

At the recent Fortune Global Forum in New York on Tuesday, November 12, Brady was the guest speaker and extolled the virtues of hard work and how being outside your comfort zone is a positive thing that can only set you up for success.

“I was always focused on making sure they worked harder than they ever thought they would have to,” Brady said of pushing his teammates while captaining the New England Patriots and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “They had to show up every day with a good attitude, humble when things were going well, curious to learn more when things weren’t going well.”

He added: “We have all faced different challenges in life; we have all faced our adversity. Check out the hardest things that have ever happened. We look back and realize that these are the best things that could have happened.”

Although he has yet to publicly comment on his ex-wife’s child news, the day after the story broke on Oct. 28, he posted a sunset photo on Instagram, along with a cover of the Chicks’ “Landslide.” about changes and how time never stands still.

At the same time, a source close to Bündchen told PEOPLE that the model is excited about the new addition.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a calm and loving environment for the whole family,” the source said.

Bündchen has been dating the Jiu-Jitsu instructor since June 2023. Their child will join Bündchen’s son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, who she both shares with Brady.
