Cher may have just found her biggest fan in Tom Hanks!
During an appearance on Friday at The Graham Norton Showthe two superstars were joined by Oscar winner Julia Roberts and Wonka star Timothée Chalamet. And everyone had high praise for their fellow talk show guest Cher (77).
After Cher joked on the show that she wasn’t a “huge Cher fan” and didn’t watch her movies or listen to her songs very often, Hanks replied, “You’re missing out.”
“Film perfection – Dear mother! 2,” Hanks, 67, said of the 2018 film. “When she drops ‘Fernando,’ the world stops. The sun collides with the stars. It’s perfection!”

After Chalamet, 27, and Roberts, 56, came forward with mentions Infatuated with the moon and Silkwood, Hanks then made a pitch to the other talk show guests. “I think we should all go to the theater right now and see Cher’s movies,” he joked.
“Let’s Cher-a-thon!” Roberts added.
Hanks and Roberts – who snapped a few behind-the-scenes photos with Cher – also gushed about their love of football on the show.
When host Norton asked Roberts if he supported Manchester United, Leave the world behind the actress explained that she was even at the team’s home ground at Old Trafford. “I’m a real fan,” she said before Norton showed off several photos, including one of her posing with Marcus Rashford and another of her holding a shirt with her name on the back.
“I have three kids and when they were very young and started playing football and watching it on TV — and I never realized how exciting it was to watch it on TV — and we just got so into it,” Roberts, who she shares children with her husband Danny Moder, she said. “Manchester United kind of became our team, the Moder family team.”

Hanks also described his love for Aston Villa FC, a team he said are “doing pretty well this year” despite a few jeers from the studio audience. “Anyone can support Man United,” Hanks said with a smile, before Roberts shot back, “Oh, that’s not cool.”
Hanks’ adoration for the team came during his “first time” in England, he said, when he saw the team’s name on the BBC and was hooked. “Aston Villa, well that sounds like a nice little place.”
“And then it turns out it’s in Birmingham. It’s a fantastic place. Villa Park is a magnificent stand to visit,” he added, before Graham shared a picture of himself cheering on the team. “And they gave me a jersey that said ‘Julia’ on the back.”
Chalamet described the talk show lineup featuring himself, Hanks, Roberts and Cher as a “trip.”
“Tom’s talking about gravity, I’m up here with Cher and Julia Roberts,” the Oscar nominee said, before Hanks jokingly replied, “Well, you’re in the big life now, get used to it! By the way, go get do you want some sandwiches for us?”
