Tom Holland’s latest project has made him question his sobriety.
Actor, 28, who starred in the Apple TV+ limited series A crowded roomrevealed that the set of the thriller series was less than pleasant in a new interview with Men’s health.
“There was a lot of hostility on that set. It was not a very harmonious place, there were a lot of arguments and conflicts,” he said.
According to Holland, the disagreements were not due to creative differences, which he noted he welcomes whether or not it gets heated.

Tom Holland says he broke up brawl at LA Whole Foods: ‘Spider-Man tells me to calm down’
The Spiderman: No Way Home star, who has been open about his choice of sobriety, admitted that sobriety helped him cope with stressful dynamics, but the stress also made him consider drinking.
“I thought, ‘If I start drinking again now, with all this going on, it’s going to be worse, isn’t it?'” he recalled.
Still, Holland said he was “pretty strong-willed. When I decide to do something, I’m really going to do it.”
“I relied a lot on those close to me: family, friends, old colleagues, new colleagues, people who reached out that I didn’t know, who were also sober,” he added about his sobriety.

Holland’s comments about the show come after the British actor revealed he will be taking a year off from acting in 2023 after a “difficult” time on A crowded room.
“‘It was a tough time, for sure,’ he said Extra work on the project. “We were exploring certain emotions that I had definitely never experienced before. And then on top of that, being a producer, dealing with the day-to-day issues that come with any film set, just added that extra level of pressure.”
