Tom Sandoval Reveals He’s ‘a Little Nervous’ to Appear Alongside Ex Ariana Madix at BravoCon 2023

Tom Sandoval is set to face the music at BravoCon 2023 amid unraveling of his affair with Vanderpump Rules colleague Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

In the latest episode of his podcast Everyone loves Tomthe Vanderpump Rules star, 41, admitted he was “a little nervous to be on the same stage” as ex Ariana Madix at the annual fan convention, which takes place in Las Vegas this weekend.

The reality star told her friend and co-star Tom Schwartz that she expects fans to show support for the 38-year-old Dancing with the stars contestant, saying, “If it comes out, it’s like, ‘Yeah,’ [or] whatever. Then I come out and people will want to show their loyalty to Team Ariana or whatever, and I’m a little nervous about that.”

The pair are expected to appear alongside Schwartz and others VPR actors Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy and Lala Kent during a panel on Friday.

Sandoval’s comments come after he spoke about the consequences of his choice to cheat on his then-girlfriend Madix of nine years with their friend Leviss. Special forces: the toughest test in the world.

He described the months-long affair – which sent shockwaves through the reality TV world after it was exposed in March – as “a pretty juicy fucking scandal” before elaborating on what he called a “long story”.

“I had an affair and it just exploded,” he said. “People were sending me messages like, mean, like, so instinctive, like, hate.”

The Bravo star shared more in a confessional interview about how the secret relationship – later dubbed “Scandoval” by fans – affected him and his reputation.

“Before this whole scandal, I met people who probably saw me Vanderpump Rules, and they’d be like, ‘Oh my God, he’s so cool.’ And now, people think I’m a total narcissist, creepy vibes,” he explained.

As for Madix, she opened up about the emotional fallout from the affair in last week’s episode Dancing with the stars.

“My boyfriend of nine years and one of my best friends betrayed me in ways that went so far beyond just cheating together that it’s so hard for me to even explain,” she said of Sandoval and Leviss, whom she said started their affair “while I was at my grandmother’s funeral.”

After the affair broke up, Ariana said she struggled with her mental health. “Watching my whole life implode in public, my anxiety and depression were at an all-time high, I wasn’t eating or sleeping.”

However, she eventually found a silver lining in the traumatic heartbreak. “When something is really hard, I can get through it,” she said of what she learned.
