TOMMY Fury has blamed his split from Molly-Mae Hague on his alcohol addiction and revealed he would drink most nights to ‘come to his senses’.
The couple shocked fans when they divorced after five years together, following allegations of infidelity on his part.

The Love Island 2019 couple shocked fans when they announced their split on social media this summer.
Tommy was accused of cheating on her before she ended their five-year relationship after he was sent a “disturbing video” showing him on a bachelor holiday in Macedonia.
The professional boxer, who shares one-year-old daughter Bambi, has now broken his silence on the cheating allegations during an emotional interview with Men’s Health.
He admitted he became addicted to alcohol after a painful boxing injury – saying “my mental health was bad”.
Tyson Fury’s brother has admitted he enjoyed the party style a little too much – spending his nights drinking to “get drunk”.
It soon took its toll on his relationship with fiancée Molly – but he insisted he never cheated on the mother of his child.
Tommy said, “Cheating never mattered.
“You can ask Molly this yourself. It was drinking, and drinking is not a good thing. You have to understand that.”
“If you’re in the same situation as me, where you just think it’s going to cure all your problems, it’s not.
“You wake up worse and want to drink more to feel happy again. It’s a cycle.”
Tommy said: “The reason me and Molly broke up was because I became addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner I wanted to be anymore.
“It kills me to say, [but] the truth is, I couldn’t.
“I liked a pint of beer, I liked to drink, and that’s what it is.
“People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I have to bear mine.”
Tommy tore all the ligaments in his hand in 2019 – leading to reconstructive surgery in early 2024.
He continued: “I lived only for training and my family, and that was all taken away from me.”
“So what I did for fun was I started drinking a lot. I found it made me feel better.
“I wanted the endorphins that I get when I finish a good session, when I finish sparring, when I finish a fight.”
Back on?
Rumors have been swirling that Molly has privately reunited with Tommy since they were caught kissing at a New Year’s Eve party.
A few days later the couple – who share daughter Bambi – met to watch horror film Nosferatu at a cinema in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
They were spotted sharing nachos and drinks before heading to Molly’s £4m Cheshire home at midnight.
Molly has yet to address the status of her relationship with Tommy, but in a new interview with Grazia, she opened up about “not getting everything perfect” ahead of the release of the Prime Video documentary.
“I’ve gotten really good at taking the ups and downs of this job,” she told them. “The reason for my relationship in public fell hard, but also, I have a little daughter, so she was my strength.
“It’s just waking up and pushing on because life has to. I have to run a business, live a life and raise a daughter.”
She added of the new doc: “We really delved into the good and bad days of raising Maeba, so it’s very realistic.
“I’m just a normal person; I won’t always get everything perfect.”
Truth
In the documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the star is set to address the split – and potentially her and Tommy’s reconciliation.
“We were utterly obsessed with each other; all I ever wanted was to get married,” she says in front of the cameras.
“Suddenly, overnight, every part of my life changed. The last few months have been the worst of my life, I am angry with him and very hurt.”
Molly-Mae and Tommy, who got together on ITV’s Love Island 2019, split in August last year in a shock statement on social media – although no one has officially explained why.
Both will appear in the show, which will be shown on Prime Video next week.
A TV insider said: “The timing of their reunion couldn’t be more fitting, as their romance will come full circle with fans following through the documentary.
“There was already a lot of interest in the programme, even before last week’s events. But now there are likely to be even more people watching it.
“The trailer seemed to suggest that there would be a lot of detail about the stress Molly went through during their high-profile breakup, but there was no indication that they would get back together.
“Which means the makers of the documentary – which is still being filmed – were either surprised by the reunion or had to keep it a top secret for a while.”
