Broadway’s brightest stars got their flowers.
On Sunday, June 16, Ariana DeBose hosted the 77th Tony Awards in New York City. Outsiderswhich counts Angelina Jolie among its producers, won the award for best musical, plus We roll happilyStars Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe took home their first acting wins.
Jack O’Brien and George C. Wolfe received a special 2024 Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theater. In addition, Billy Porter was awarded the 2024 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award in recognition of his dedication and contributions as an activist and spokesperson for LGBTQ+ communities.
The 2024 Tony Awards aired live on CBS and Paramount+ from Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York City. The pre-show previously aired for free on PlutoTV.
