“You were in the hospital last summer, you scared the crap out of us, girl,” Hudson, 42, said.

“One night I actually ended up collapsing and they found out I had blood clots. It was really crazy and scary,” the star explained. “My family was definitely there for me. I was calm for the most part, but I was a little confused and wondering what was going on.”

She added: “Luckily I had great doctors who were able to take care of everything and get me well.”

“It was already scheduled and I kind of had the option of like, ‘OK, do I want to push it back any further?'” Kelly said. “And I’ve decided that I’m going to keep putting this music out even though I can’t promote it the way I normally would.”

The singer released her EP Tori Frn July 28 and described her new music as “happy and fun.”

“Just when I was feeling better, I got to go on tour and actually sing these songs live and have fun with the fans,” Kelly told Hudson. “Everything happens for a reason, but I’m glad I was still able to play music.”
