The couple originally met at Depauw University, where they both studied. The couple’s third date was at a high school basketball game 90 minutes away, and that’s when she realized his passion for basketball. After graduating from the University, she would return to Indianapolis on the weekends from law school to see Brad. It took her five hours to get from her law school to Indianapolis. They were married on August 8, 2003 in Cuyahoga, Ohio. They have known each other since their second year at Depauw University.

Tracy worked as a labor and employment attorney because she felt she was qualified to do so, helping him negotiate his contract with the Celtics. She had a significant influence on her husband’s career.
