Travis Barker Shares Image of Positive COVID Test 2 Weeks After Rejoining Blink-182 Tour

Travis Barker updates his fans on his health status.

After the 47-year-old musician returned to tour with Blink-182 following wife Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s “emergency fetal surgery,” Barker shared a picture of himself holding a positive COVID test on his Instagram Story.

He posted the picture on Friday with the emoticon “đŸ€’đŸ˜”đŸ„Ž.” PEOPLE has reached out to Barker’s rep for further comment.

Blink-182’s next show is scheduled for October 2 at the Altice Arena in Portugal. With the band’s upcoming album set for release on October 20, the band’s new single titled “One More Time” debuted on Thursday.

Barker recently talked about reuniting with bandmates Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge in a video featuring previews of the new album and a clip of an upcoming interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe shared on the band’s YouTube account.

“Why does it take these disasters, like me being in a plane crash or being sick, for our band to get back together?” He said.

“I’ve always known that the brotherhood will never break or not exist. I really feel like Blink is the three of us, and as soon as we accept that and don’t settle for anything less than that, I just think that’s the future,” Barker added.

Earlier this year, the band reunited when they postponed their Latin American tour due to Barker’s finger injury.

“Thank you for all the love, prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery,” he wrote in March in an Instagram post that included a picture of him lying in a hospital bed.

“It was a difficult decision to make, but ultimately, I couldn’t continue playing drums without it. It was inevitable that my finger would dislocate again without surgical repair of the torn ligament,” he explained. “I’m so thankful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was successful so I can continue doing what I love and see you on tour soonđŸ„đŸ€˜”
