Team Valor International founder and CEO Barry Irwin confirmed the news to The Associated Press on Tuesday.

“It’s very exciting,” Irwin said by phone. “I met him at the Kentucky Derby and got to spend some time with him and stuff, and we talked about horses and everything. When this horse came to light and was already owned by one of my partners, I decided with that name that it must be gratuitous.”

Even Jason Kelce, 36, got in on the fun as he reacted to his little brother’s latest purchase on Xu (formerly Twitter) with a nod to Swift.

“But does he have an enlarged heart…. Can this horse do it with a broken heart! @tkelce,” Jason wrote, referencing Swift’s song “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” from her latest album, Department for tortured poets.

During the May 8 episode New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Travis couldn’t help but tell his brother how he “almost won” $100,000 at the annual Louisville horse races.

“I was just a nose away from winning the freaking thing, man,” Jason said, noting that he had put money on two horses, numbers 11 and 2.

“I was a beginner. I didn’t get too into it,” Travis continued. “I just wanted to fucking put the money I brought in there and throw it on the horse and just get a fucking pump if that thing is even close. And sure enough, coming around that corner, you see that thing… coming up.”

“… I almost won $100,000 on a Japanese horse in the Kentucky Derby. Do you think America would shame me for that?” Travis added, jokingly.

Although the football star had no luck at the Kentucky Derby this year, things have been going well for him and Swift.

Over the weekend, TMZ obtained photos of the couple spending time together in Rhode Island.

During their relationship, the two stars made sure to show each other off — with the “Love Story” singer attending his games during the NFL season and Kelce appearing at more than a dozen of her Eras Tour shows.

“They are really, really happy together,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE in July. “They are very serious about each other and they both have a different feel.”
