Travis Kelce Praises ‘Unbelievable’ Taylor Swift for Grammys Wins, Says He Needs to ‘Bring Home Hardware Too’

Taylor Swift made history at the Grammys on Sunday night, and Travis Kelce is singing her praises!

On Monday night, the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, shared his pride over his superstar girlfriend’s latest musical feat.

“She’s amazing. She’s writing the history books again on her own,” the professional athlete said of her fourth album of the year win. “I told her I would have to keep my end of the bargain and come home with the hardware.”

Just one day before the annual Super Bowl media event on Monday night, the “Blank Space” hitmaker, 34, won her fourth album of the year award at the 2024 Grammys.

“I wish I could tell you that this is the best moment of my life. But I feel this happy when I finish a song or when I crack the code for a bridge that I love or when I’m in a hit music video or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to perform,” she said during her acceptance speech, teasing the start of The Eras Tour 2024 this week.

Monday marks the start of a big week for the couple, with the Super Bowl less than a week away and four performances in Tokyo on the “Karma” singer’s agenda.

Before a massive gathering of about 6,000 media members from 26 countries, the tight end shared his own excitement — and that the allure of the week hasn’t diminished even though the Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl four of the last six years.

“It’s exciting. It’s all exciting stuff,” Kelce said. “It builds and sets the tone for the whole week. It’s the biggest stage in the world. Monday night is going to be where it starts for everybody. At the moment, I just love it, it’s an exciting time. A once-in-a-lifetime thing where I could enjoy several times.”

Just days after taking home her 13th and 14th Grammy Awards, Swift could be playing in her 13th NFL game of the season, as it is possible to return from Japan within 24 hours of Sunday’s game.

Swift’s appearance would follow her presence in the game that secured the Chiefs back-to-back AFC championships. The singer joined Kelce on the court for the first time after the game, and celebrated his victory with a kiss.
