Travis Kelce details his surprise cameo at Taylor Swift’s London show!
In the last episode of the second season of the series New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast that aired on Wednesday, July 3, the NFL star, 34, opened up about the experience of joining his girlfriend on stage for her Eras concert at London’s Wembley Stadium, saying the whole thing was actually his idea.
“I mentioned it to Tay first,” Travis told his brother and co-host Jason Kelce. “I thought, ‘How funny it would be if I just rolled on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.’ ”
Swift, 34, laughed at the idea at first, Travis said, before asking, “‘Would you seriously be willing to do something like that?’
Travis was game. “I was like, ‘What? I’d love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen enough of the show — you might hire me here,'” he recalled. “And of course, she found the perfect part of the show for me to enter.”
Kelce said it was his idea to join Swift on stage at her Eras show in London on June 23.

The Kansas City Chiefs player shocked Swifties with his guest appearance during the concert on June 23 when he appeared in a tuxedo carrying Swift on stage during her third performance at London’s Wembley Stadium.
“There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything,” Travis explained. “It was the safest option.”

He then joined Swift for her outfit change segment “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” — included in the Eras show alongside her Department for tortured poets album — as he powdered Swift’s face and showed off some dance moves before leaving the stage.
These dance moves were inspired by Jim Carey’s tap dance in the film Dumb and Dumber, Travis said. “I always wanted to make this move, but I never knew when to make it where it made sense,” he said. “That’s one of my favorite moves of all time!”
Travis said the experience was “absolutely awesome” for his podcast.

During the podcast, Travis praised Swift for being a “real showman,” saying it was an “honor” to be on stage with her.
“It was absolutely great,” he said. “It was such a fun, playful part of the show and it was like… the perfect time to go up there and be a ham and have fun — not just with [Swift]… but the crowd and really try to keep everyone excited until the end of the show. It was great.”
Travis also spoke about his enthusiastic reaction to the crowd’s reaction to him on stage with Swift.
“When everyone found out it was me – because it took everyone a second to realize it – that moment was quite unsettling. “I thought, ‘Oh s—,'” he said. “And you don’t realize how big that damn stage is. It’s easily the size of a football stadium… it’s much bigger than I could have ever imagined.”
“But no, it was great. And I didn’t disappoint Taylor, so that’s all that really matters,” Travis added.
