Taylor Swift’s big night at the 2024 Grammy Awards made Travis Kelce proud for more than one reason.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end raved about the strapless Schiaparelli dress Swift wore to the event, while talking to reporters Tuesday.
“Oh, that was fresh. I liked that,” Kelce said.
The floor-length white dress featured a thigh-high slit that topped off her black open-toe heels and white nail polish. The singer paired the look with black opera gloves, a layered necklace and a custom-made vintage Lorraine Schwartz watch worn as a necklace.

“It’s all about the extras when you go to an awards show like that,” he told reporters. “She killed him.”
The athlete previously showed support for the look by liking a photo of Swift wearing the dress on Instagram.
From owning a sportswear brand to donning his fair share of stylish outfits at events and game days, Kelce has often been vocal about his love for fashion.
During an appearance on the January 31st episode The Pat McAfee ShowThe NFL star said she’s ready to go all out with her look on the day of the 2024 Super Bowl.
“I’ve got a few different things that I have in the closet that I could bring out. But you know, man, we’re in Vegas, baby, the lights are on,” Kelce said, noting that “they might have to bring out all the bells and whistles.”

Kelce took his love of fashion a step further by gifting Swift a personalized “TNT” friendship bracelet designed by Wove Made Inc. Jewelers.
CEO Simone Kendle told PEOPLE that the custom tennis bracelet is handcrafted in 14K yellow gold and features 4.62 carats of lab-grown diamonds set with custom TNT yellow gold “beads, which are encrusted with sparkling pavé diamonds.”
Although Kelce also ordered a matching one for himself, Swift was first seen wearing the bracelet while celebrating with Kelce on the court after his AFC Championship win.

“The first time we saw the bracelet was when the rest of the world saw it! We had almost given up on ever seeing her in the bracelet until THAT infamous hug. As she wrapped her arms around Travis to congratulate him, a member of our team spotted the bracelet peeking out from her out of her sweater and set off the alarm,” Kendle told PEOPLE.
