Travis Kelce Ties Chiefs Touchdown Record as Girlfriend Taylor Swift Cheers Him on

Travis Kelce Is Writing Chiefs History – With Taylor Swift In His Corner!

The tight end, 35, caught his second touchdown of the 2024 NFL season when the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 10, and made Chiefs history (quiet chatter about his performance so far) as Swift, 34 , as seen at Arrowhead Stadium.

The two-yard run in the second quarter was not only the Chiefs’ first touchdown of the game, but it was also a historic moment for Kelce. That moved him to 76 career touchdown catches — a mark that ties him with Tony Gonzalez for the most receiving touchdowns in franchise history, the Chiefs said.

Swift, meanwhile, celebrated her beau’s big game in a suite at Kansas City Stadium, smiling, clapping and shouting as she watched him on the field.

The pop superstar was joined by her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, as she cheered on Kelce, whose play made it 14-10 at halftime.

So far this season, Swift has cheered on her boyfriend at four other games, starting with the first game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5, which she watched in the suite with Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, as well as her mom, Andrea.

Later in the fall, she also went to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints and, most recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 4.

And just as the Grammy winner was about to wrap up her final shows on the US Eras Tour, Kelce also found time to support her, joining the crowd at one of her shows in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Kelce fans have seen a slow start from the veteran tight end in the Chiefs’ first few games this season, but the Super Bowl champion said on his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, that he learned how to manage his frustration instead of getting “really, really angry” like he had in the past.

“I used to get very, very angry and almost lose my cool,” the Chiefs star said. “I just love playing the game at such a high level of responsibility that it’s just hard for me to deal with being average or having the stats to represent it.”

Kelce also said he “stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago,” which has helped him be able to “just play free” and develop a “better mentality” around competing this season.
