Travis Kelce Touches Down in Atlanta in All-Black, Reputation-Coded Travel Outfit Ahead of Chiefs-Falcons Game

Travis Kelce is back in black.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, touched down in Atlanta in style ahead of Sunday Night Football’s game against the Falcons. Travis sported a sleek, all-black travel look, accessorized with silver chains and a watch, as seen in a video shared on the Chiefs’ official Instagram account.

He also wore a vintage Zeus & Miles baseball cap from 1998 that read “HE GOT GAME,” an homage to the Spike Lee film of the same name.

Travis completed his outfit with sunglasses and a pair of black leather backless shoes. Some fans theorized in the comments that it was his styling Reputation-coded, referring to his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s 2017 album.

An instrumental version of d.higg’s “Proud” played in the background of the Instagram clip, which captured Travis walking down the plane’s steps onto the runway, his luggage in hand. “@killatrav means business,” read the caption of the post.

The Chiefs are 2-0 so far this NFL season, beating the Baltimore Ravens in their home opener on September 5th and then narrowly defeating the Cincinnati Bengals on September 15th. Despite a hot start to the season for the Chiefs, Travis has yet to score a touchdown.

He was candid about his performance so far this season during the Sept. 18 episode New heightsa podcast he hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles alumnus Jason Kelce.

“I used to get really, really fired up and almost lose my cool,” Travis said of past games where he would get frustrated.

“I just love playing the game at such a high level of responsibility that it’s just hard for me to deal with being average or having the stats to represent that,” he added.

The tight end has four catches for 39 yards in the Chiefs’ first two games, but he’s not letting those stats get to him.

“It’s just, for whatever reason, these last two games, it hasn’t gone my way, and that’s football, man. I’m not going to sit here and be frustrated about that,” he added on the podcast.

During the first two games, Swift, 34, was on hand to cheer on her boyfriend. She spent the beginning of the season in an apartment with Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed. She also brought her mom, Andrea, to the match on September 15.
