Tristan Thompson Would ‘Love’ to ‘Spend the Rest of My Life’ with Khloé Kardashian: ‘I’ve Always Wanted It’

Tristan Thompson continued to be vulnerable with Kourtney Kardashian Barker about his serial cheating with Khloé Kardashian and his hopes for the future.

In Thursday’s episode the kardashians, the clash over infidelity and disrespect continued as Kourtney, 44, asked Tristan, 32, if he had anything to do with fans’ social media posts calling him a “sociopath” and a “narcissist”.

The NBA player took the opportunity to chat with Kourtney to open up about suppressing his emotions as a child and how it led him to cheat on Khloé.

When Kourtney asked Tristan what his “goal” was going forward, the Cleveland Cavalier said, “Would I like to be with your sister and spend the rest of my life with her? Sure. My goal is to get my family back together as a unit.”

Tristan continued, “Even though I never grew up with a happy household, I’ve always wanted one.”

He then admitted that his own actions led to the demise of his relationship with the Good American founder. “But I did things that put me in a position to get out of it,” Tristan said of his dream of a “happy household” with Khloé and their two children, True, 5, and Tatum, 1.

Kourtney insisted that Tristan learn to take “responsibility” during their date, with the father-of-four promising to “be better” for the whole family.

“I firmly believe that if you make a mistake, you must be responsible for it and stand on your own two feet. If you commit a crime, you must admit it,” he said.

“I want to be a good example for them,” Tristan said of his children, adding that he admitted to Khloe that he knows it’s his responsibility to be honest with their children. “I always tell Khloé, when it comes to True and that conversation, it’s up to me to have that conversation, because daddy let you down and mommy… Mommy didn’t let you down.”

As the conversation progressed, Kourtney suggested that her family’s preference to keep things “fun and happy” can often “take precedence over setting boundaries and watching someone’s back.”

A vulnerable Tristan admitted he’s “not proud of the person I’ve been” but is “of course” proud of “the person I’m becoming” as he spoke to Kourtney.

“For that to happen, I had to fall, hit rock bottom, lose everything in life … you have to pick yourself up. You have to be better. I had to grow so that I can be better for my children,” he said.

In a confessional Thursday, the Poosha founder reflected on her conversation with Tristan and said she wasn’t there to “resent him.” “I believe people can grow,” Kourtney said, adding that she finds “the work he’s doing” and “the path he’s on” “interesting.”

The mother of four admitted that it’s “worrying” every time “your words don’t match your actions”, and she can’t wait for Tristan to grow even more. Khloe said it was “interesting” that “the work that she does

“Talk is cheap,” she added.

Kourtney explained that the Kardashian clan “can normalize these behaviors of some of the men in our lives,” regarding infidelity and trust, “and I don’t want to show my daughter that that’s okay.”

“I think forgiving and giving grace is right, but also, it’s really important to have really clear boundaries,” Kourtney concluded.

Khloé and Tristan began dating on and off in 2016. He cheated on her multiple times, including once just days before their daughter True was born and another time with Jordyn Woods in 2019 while he and Khloé were still together.

Years later, they gave their romance another chance. But it was later revealed in December 2021 that Tristan fathered a child with Maralee Nichols around the same time he and Khloé were secretly expecting their second child via surrogate.

Khloé officially ended their relationship months before the birth of their son Tatum in August 2022 and has since repeatedly stated that she has no intention of getting back together.
