Christian Serratos enters the era of his wife with a unique engagement ring on her hand.
Actress known for her roles in The the walking dead and Twilight and recently played Selena Quintanilla in Selena: Seriesshe is engaged to her longtime partner, New Politics musician David Boyd.
On Aug. 16, the couple announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos, including close-ups of Serratos’ sparkling ring from luxury jewelry brand Brilliant Earth, which has been adored by celebrities.
Boyd collaborated with the brand to create a custom piece. Featuring a rose gold and red enamel band set with a lab-grown pear-shaped pink diamond weighing 11.66 carats. Serratos called the sparkle her “dream ring” and raved about its “perfection” on Instagram.

Serratos (33) and Boyd (36) met ten years ago in Atlanta and have a daughter, Wolf, Knotwho discussed his wedding plans with the television star in an interview published on August 16.
“David was on tour with Paramore and Fallout Boy, and I was recording The living dead at the time,” Serratos told the outlet. “I was watching his show, and when I went backstage to say hi to a friend who was on tour, they introduced me to him. We had our first date the next night and we’ve been together ever since.”

Boyd also shared a sweet message to his love with his Instagram post.
“I’ve always loved you and I always feel happier and more complete when I’m with you and Wolfie!!!! Here, our love and further future is celebrated and shouted from the rooftops. I LOVE YOU,” he wrote.

In her Instagram caption, Serratos joked that she’s practically called Boyd her “husband” for 10 years, and said Knot that they have been talking about marriage for a long time. What she envisions for their wedding is a ceremony that is “campy” and “very deconstructed,” like her ring.
“We’re not very traditional people,” she said, describing herself as more of an “introverted” person.
