Twinkle Khanna made her debut with the Bollywood film Barsaat; which also won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Apart from working in mainstream Hindi films, she also appeared in the Telugu film “Seenu”. KN Vijiyan of the New Straits Times (a Malaysian newspaper) wrote that her appearance was different and unusual compared to typical Bollywood actresses. In 1999, she worked with her husband Akshay Kumar in the action films International Khiladi and Zulmi. In February 2001, she entered theaters with Feroze Khan’s film “All the Best”. She was last seen in “Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega” (2001). She has also appeared on the covers of various famous magazines.
